Bill Mitchell joined the station in 1997. Bill came to News 12 from KDBC-TV in El Paso, Texas where he was News Director and main anchor for 22 years. Before joining KDBC, he was the Senior Vice President and Station Manager at KZIA-TV in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Bill and his wife are happy to return to Tennessee to be close to his hometown of Nashville. Bill enjoys playing guitar, working on cars, playing with his computer and dabbling in carpentry.
