BRADLEY COUNTY, Tenn (WDEF) – The Bradley County Democratic Party is raising concerns about a building that will soon be turned into an early voting location next month.
That building is located on McGrady Drive and is currently a store that sells President Trump merchandise.
The Bradley County Election commission says they have nothing to do with the store and it will be gone a day before the early election starts.
The Bradley County Democratic Party says they understand the store can legally be there but they are worried about voters being intimidated and they want something done by the election commission.
“I would rather that they move the early voting location. If possible. Because everyone that lives in the area has seen the signs and they know it is a Trump Shop. If possible, I think it would be better that they just move the location,” says Tammy Davis, Bradley County Democratic Party.
The manager of the stores tells News 12 voter intimidation is not his intention and his lease ends before the early voting election begins.
