Fatal crash on Gann Road

MONDAY UPDATE:

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office identifies the two people killed in the Gann Road crash over the weekend.

The driver was 20 year old Michael Wagner and the passenger was 22 year old Jonathan Layman.

Investigators say their vehicle left the road and hit a tree but the cause remains under investigation.

HAMILTON CO., Tenn. (WDEF)- The Hamilton County Sheriff’s office is investigating a fatal crash that happened early Sunday morning.

According to HCSO, the single car accident happened in the 7700 block Gann Road around 2 a.m.

Two people were killed.

Their names will not be released until the next of kin has been notified.

The cause of the crash is unknown.
