Person Found Dead In Submerged Car In Polk County

POLK COUNTY, Tennessee (WDEF)- Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating an incident that left one person dead.

According to officials, a vehicle was submerged in the lake at mile marker 8 on highway 64 in Polk County.

This is an active investigation and the Tennessee Highway Patrol will release more information once the family is notified.
