CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – The first person to die in a fire this year in Chattanooga was 60 year old Dianne Harden.
Investigators say she most likely died from smoke inhalation in the fire last Friday, March 8th.
It happened around 3:40 PM at a residence on Lenny Lane in East Brainerd.
The front of the home was in flames when firefighters arrived.
They discovered her body in an upstairs bedroom.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
