NASHVILLE, Tennessee (WDEF) – The Tanger Outlets are coming to downtown Nashville.
The company says their outlet will be somewhere near downtown, within site of a new interchange under construction. But they won’t say exactly where.
Tanger will not begin construction until they have at least 60% of the store space leased.
Tanger is based in Greensboro, North Carolina.
They operate 44 upscale outlet shopping centers in 22 states, including locations centers in Sevierville and Calhoun, along with Market Street Shoppes in Dalton.
The Nashville announcement was good news for the city, since the last time the project made news was that Ikea was dropping out last year as they closed many of their stores.
