CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — A Chattanooga Police officer signs off after 25 years with the department.
Lieutenant Austin Garrett was in Tactical and Traffic Operations. In his most recent role, Lieutenant Garrett was responsible for managing and leading the operations, planning, and ongoing development for thirteen specialized units.
His daughter, who is a dispatcher, took his final sign off.
Garrett’s next stop will be at the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. He will be sworn in tomorrow morning as Chief Deputy on Monday morning.
