DALTON, Georgia (WDEF) – Students in Dalton are getting some great career advice.
Kids from several schools in the Dalton Public School system met with business people, and local college officials to find out what it takes land a good job.
It’s all part of a special event called “Future Fest.”
Organizers say it’s a combination of a job fair and a college fair.
The event included people from the health care industry.
It also included small business leaders, civil servants, and people from the two local colleges as well.
Students hope this program can help them make decisions about their future.

“It helps because then you are not left with questions and you’re not sure like if that person really knows or not. Like when you ask your parents something and they are not sure then they are sure because they are in that type of business.”
