Outdoor Chattanooga and the Chattanooga Flying Disc Club will show you how, Saturday afternoon.
Get a crash course from 1 to 3 p.m. at Portland Park.
Another educational event that’s outside on Saturday?
Now that the shutdown is over and the national parks are back open, you can participate in a special “Winter Vistas” driving and hiking tour of the Chickamauga Battlefield.
On it, you can explore a part of the park that’s not often seen.
The 90-minute tour starts at 2 p.m. inside the Chickamauga Battlefield Visitor Center.
Yes, Super Bowl activities are happening all weekend long in Atlanta, but if you want to do something else fun in town, the Winter Beer Festival is happening Saturday afternoon.
You can take advantage of lots of beer, wine and cider, plus food trucks and heated tents with live music.
It’s taking place from 1 to 5 p.m. at Atlantic Station.
