It is an economic consulting company from Austin, Texas which has been hired.

It is a 4 phase process, including data gathering and assessment, targeting partnership clusters like governmental bodies.

It will end with a final report for implementation of the plan.

Charles Wood with the Chattanooga Chamber tells us “There’s been a great story, and there’s been great growth that’s happened here. Our, I think, for us, Volkswagen happened ten years ago and so the question becomes: what’s next? And this five year plan is really about how we work to find out what comes next.”

The final recommendations will be presented in the form of a public document in April.
