NASHVILLE, Tennessee (WDEF) – The bill that would end time changes in Tennessee is back for another try.
Last year, lawmakers deferred the bill for a summer study.
The bill would keep Tennessee on Daylight Saving Time year-round.
But there is a change from last year’s version.
In the last version, the change would take effect when we go back to Daylight Saving this May.
But the new version would take effect whenever Congress approves letting states decide where they want to stay with Daylight Saving Time or not.
Florida has just approved a similar measure waiting on Congressional action.
