SODDY DAISY, Tenn. (WDEF) – Computers may be everywhere, but statistics show that only 1 out 4 schools teach computer programming.
Students at Soddy Daisy High school hope to change that fact.
They took part in a huge program called the “Hour of Code.”
The event took place during Computer Science Education week back in December.
It’s helping some local students get the programming skills they need to succeed in the real world.
