Tennessee Valley (WDEF) – Cool & Cloudy Start to the Week!
Clearing is happening in our northern counties with light precipitation coming to an end fairly soon for the Chattanooga metro.
Clearer skies overnight will let temperatures fall below the freezing mark which could cause some patchy black ice formation in the early hours of the morning.
Lows get down to the mid 20s tonight across the region, cooler in the higher terrain so be cautious in the morning especially on untreated roads.
Tuesday will be much clearer with highs in the mid to upper 40s and sunny skies.
Wednesday will be the same but with increasing clouds for the evening and overnight as the next round of rain looks to move in for Thursday and Friday.
Temperatures will be much warmer for next weekend so no threat of winter weather is expected.
