CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Authorities are looking for suspects who threw a young dog from a moving vehicle on Tuesday morning.

A Witness says it happened around 10:30 AM at Dayton Boulevard and West Midvale Avenue.

The witness described a light colored van that didn’t slow down when the driver chucked the dog out.

Humane Educational Society say the three month old German Shepard mix suffered a broken leg.

Now Animal Protection Officers are asking the public to help identify the driver, the vehicle or the dog.

Anyone with tips leading to the identification of Ali’s assailant is asked to call Humane Educational Society Animal Protection officers at 423.624.5302 x247.

And HES always needs donations for the Special Needs Fund to take care of emergency cases like Ali.
