U-T-C has officially opened its new sports complex after taking a year to build it.
The university had a ribbon cutting ceremony today to announce the official opening.
The $7.7 million complex is located next to Engel Stadium on East Third Street.
The 17 acre complex will be used for flag football, lacrosse, soccer, and Ultimate Frisbee events held by the school.
There will also be a grass field for rugby and band practice, a quarter mile walking track, and 3 sand volleyball courts.
Students will also have access to a clubhouse, and much, much more outside of the complex.
A spokesperson with the school says the complex will be paid for through student fees.
It opens a new area of development for the campus along Central Avenue next to Engel Stadium.
