CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There’s a lot to do in Chattanooga and in nearby cities this week.
Some students with Girls Preparatory School and McCallie School are going under the sea this week for their fall theater production – Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr.
Their show is an adaptation of the Disney Broadway show.
You can see it Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at the GPS Frierson Theatre.
Another live performance you’ll want to check out this week during your lunch break is “MaryLovesJazz.”
This souful jazz vocalist is singing at Noontunes this Wednesday at 12 p.m. at Miller Plaza.
She’s performed at several venues throughout Chattanooga.
This fall weather is nice for a sunset hike at Greenway Farms this week.
Outdoor Chattanooga is giving a free guided hike Wednesday night, so you can explore the trails of the city park at a leisurely pace.
It all starts at 7 p.m. You’ll need to RSVP in advance.
If you don’t mind making a mini-road trip outside of the Tennessee Valley, you can head down to Atlanta to see School of Rock – The Musical at the Fox Theatre.
There are shows Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights at 7:30 p.m.
Performances will also take place this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
