Tennessee Valley (WDEF) – More Very Wet – & Possibly Dangerous – Weather Ahead!
After a record-setting rain day Monday with 2.18″ and .85″ on Tuesday, there is still more rain ahead, and most of it will be for tomorrow. We could see another 1 – 3 inches of rain across our viewing area.
Expect lots of clouds, warm, and muggy weather through the morning with a more showers & storms. Lows between 70 & 74.
Wednesday Afternoon: Scattered showers and storms will move in from the Southwest again. Some of the rain will be on the heavy side during the afternoon and evening. The threat of flooding will be elevated with our recent rains and some totals could be up to 2″, if not more in isolated areas.
Highs will settle into the upper 70’s. Some lingering showers and storms will move off to the Southeast Wednesday night with lows in the mid to upper 60’s.
Lots of clouds with a few showers mainly to our Southeast on Thursday with highs in the upper 70’s. Can’t rule out a shower for Friday but it’s looking a little drier for now with highs 80-82.
The weekend is looking partly cloudy with highs in the low 80’s and lows in the 60’s with more above normal weather into the beginning of next week. Still some questions about rain, but by Sunday, looking dry for awhile.
Have a good final week of September!
