Patrick Doyle, the commander of the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force, looked over what was recently confiscated. Agents found more than two kilos of meth and numerous guns when they searched a LaFayette woman’s home and storage unit.
“This was definitely an entire task force effort to get this case done and it continues to be an entire task force effort,” Doyle said.
Agents first went to her home on Morningside Drive. They were then led to a storage unit at LRI Mini Warehouses, where they discovered a conversion lab.
“They are becoming a little more common as far as the amounts go. We used to not find this much finished methamphetamine on some of the cases we work, but it is getting to be more and more common,” Doyle said.
As for this investigation, it isn’t over. Agents expect there to be additional arrests.
