NASHVILLE (WDEF) – Congratulations to Lauren Alaina for another CMA nomination.
In another year dominated by male singers, the Tennessee Valley native picked up a nomination for New Artist of the Year, again.
She, along with Luke Combs and Brett Young were nominated for the same award last year too (Jon Pardi won).
Overall, Chris Stapleton tops the field with five nominations, including Entertainer, Single, Song, Album, and Male Vocalist.
Last week, Lauren co-hosted the ACM honors in Nashville.
She is currently wrapping up a tour with Jason Aldean that will bring her to Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on September 6th.
Then she kicks off another tour in October with Cole Swindell and Dustin Lynch.
That one makes stops in Tuscalooa, Huntsville, and Duluth, Georgia (with a break in November for the CMA Awards).
