DADE County, GA (WDEF) – A man is behind bars in Dade County for drug charges and wanted for others out of Florida.
The Dade County Drug Task Force Agent received information Tuesday that a man with a felony probation violation warrant out of Florida, was at a location on Sand Mountain.
Dakota Mcbryar was on probation for trafficking heroin.
The Drug Task Force and Sheriff’s Office found him on Highway 301.
Officials say while taking the male in to custody, they saw the drug “LSD” in open view.
The DTF Agent says they obtained a search warrant for the residence and located heroin, poppy seeds, and over 70 planters containing opium poppy plant seeds, which he was attempting to grow.
They also say they found a stolen motorcycle out of Florida was found.
Mcbryar was taken to the Dade County Jail, where he was booked, and is currently being held with a $10,000 bond.
