DALTON, Georgia (WDEF) – Two people have been arrested in northwest Georgia after a man says he was tortured over the weekend.
The victim says he was shot twice at a home in Tunnel Hill on Sunday.
And then his captors held him against his will, burning and torturing him.
He finally escaped early Tuesday morning and made it to the hospital.
Whitfield County deputies found the two suspects at the residence.
They also say they found evidence there backing up the victim’s story.
And they also found several guns, explosives, meth and drug related objects.
34 year old Christopher Tyson Rollins and 32 year old Kristen Kaye Weave have been charged with aggravated assault, kidnapping, meth and gun charges.
The Sheriff is not releasing a motive for the crime.
