The Heritage museum is working to raise more than 6 million dollars.

Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Bill Raines is chairman of the campaign.

“It’s a big big push we have to raise an additional 2 million dollars this year we tentatively got about a little less than a million, so we still have a long way to go.”

The Charles H. Coolidge Medal of Honor Center will be located at the former visitors center building in the Aquarium Plaza.

Black is running for the Republican nomination for Governor of Tennessee.
