CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There’s a lot to do in Chattanooga this weekend.
If you’re a fan of bluegrass music, you’ll want to check out the Steep Canyon Rangers at the Walker Theatre Friday night.
The group won a Grammy in 2013 for “Nobody Knows You,” bringing comedian and banjoist Steve Martin to join them as his backing band.
Martin won’t be with them on Friday, but it’ll still be a great show.
It starts at 8 p.m.
Anyone looking for Valentine’s date ideas can always head to Ruby Falls this weekend for Romance at Ruby.
Couples can get an intimate lantern tour of the cave and famous waterfall, plus a souvenir photo and gift.
You can go at 9 and 9:15 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and some days next week.
From Valentine’s Day to Mardi Gras, you can let the good times roll on Station Street Saturday night.
There, you can celebrate without having to make a trip to New Orleans.
Think dancing in the streets, plus beads, feathers and masks.
The event starts at 6 p.m., and wraps up around midnight.
If partying on Station Street isn’t for you, you can always do some wine tasting and support a good cause.
The Barn Nursery is hosting “Save Water, Drink Wine.”
There, you can taste regional wines and food from local restaurants, while learning about watershed protection efforts from South Chickamauga Creek, the Tennessee River Gorge, and others.
The event is from 6 to 8:30 p.m., Saturday, at the Barn Nursery.
