One Killed in Marion Co. Self-Defense Shooting


MARION COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — Marion County deputies and the TBI are wrapping up an investigation into a fatal shooting Monday night.

TBI offices are closed, but witnesses say one person was killed.

No names will be released until later on Tuesday, but the shooter apparently has been released from custody.

The case is now being handled as self-defense.
