Chattanooga company donates pet rescue masks to fire and police department

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Thousands of pets die in fires every year, and in most communities, emergency responders lack the equipment to save the animals.

A private company is donating a supply of pet rescue masks to the Chattanooga fire and police departments.

Invisible Fence of Chattanooga is making the donation through its “Project breathe”.

The donation is in conjunction with the arrival of a new animal rescue training program for Chattanooga firefighters.
