Suspect escapes after car chase that ends in the Tennessee River
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Hamilton County deputies are still looking for a suspect who led them on a chase Monday night.
It happened just after 10 PM.

And it continued several miles downstream on River Canyon Road.
When they got to the 19500 block, the vehicle left the road and plowed through a resident’s yard.
The driver jumped out while the car was still moving and ran down a boat ramp.
