CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Sportsbarn has developed a new interval training studio at their downtown Chattanooga location, called Training Zone.
Training Zone is free for Sportsbarn members and offers a variety of cardio and strength training exercises in a group fitness, instructor-led, 60-minute workout.
“Putting together a fitness routine can be a difficult task when you’re busy with juggling work, raising a family, or other life events,” says David Brock, Managing Partner of Sportsbarn Fitness Clubs.”Sportsbarn is addressing this challenge with a brand new Interval Training studio for Chattanoogans that offers the most intense, instructor-led, 60-minute cardio and strength training workout you’ll ever need,” adds Brock.
Sportsbarn renovated their existing downtown fitness club to make room for Training Zone. The renovation and new studio build took approximately 3 months.
Training Zone has all new equipment including water-rower rowing machines, a TRX weight training station, state-of-the-art Treadmills, and Assault bikes.
“We sent our instructors out to visit studios regionally and to dynamic markets across the country to see what seemed to work or not work with existing interval studios,” says Teresa Wade, Head of Fitness at Sportsbarn. “We believe Training Zone addresses cardio, conditioning and strength in a unique and exciting way that others may not,” Wade adds.
Training Zone classes take place throughout the week and on weekends, along with Yoga, Cycling, and other group fitness classes. Non-members get a one-time, complimentary pass to try Training Zone and the entire Sportsbarn Fitness Club.
“The initial response from members has been extremely positive and we are looking to expand this concept to other clubs.,” Brock states.
