Chattooga County, GA (WDEF)-Two arrests have been made after drug investigators with the Chattooga County Sheriff’s office make a large drug bust.
Sheriff Mark A. Schrader says investigators executed a search warrant Friday afternoon at a home off of Taliaferro Springs Road just outside of Lyerly.
The search inside the home yielded more than four pounds of marijuana and over $15,000.00 in cash. Scales and packaging materials were also seized.
57-year-old Charles Owen Lang and 57-year-old Deborah Weaver were both charged with possession of more than one ounce of marijuana and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute
Both charges are felonies.
More charges may come pending the investigation.
