CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee (WDEF) – The case against a Chattanooga couple accused of gang raping a woman last December has been dismissed.
Floridalma Gomez and Carlos Mota-Velez are no longer facing rape charges after their case was dropped in court.
According to the arrest affidavit, the couple was accused of sexually assaulting one of Gomez’s relatives inside a home in the 3800 block of Kirkland Avenue.
At the time of the arrest, the couple had to be properly identified by immigration officials.
