Cleveland, Tenn. (WDEF) – A local man is in the hospital recovering tonight, after losing his leg in a car accident early Thanksgiving morning. He is the sole provider for his family, and doesn’t have insurance, so his coworker, James Cole, started a GoFundMe account to help.
James Cole, business manager for Summit’s Piano’s said, David Caronna has worked as a piano mover for more than seven years, and is the sole provider for his wife and two children. “Just a very trust worthy, honest, hard-working man,” said Cole, “He always puts his family first, and even under the circumstances currently that’s his main concern: how is he going to take care of his family?”
Cole said Caronna is also uninsured at the moment, so he decided to start a GoFundMe account to help with high medical expenses, and the long road of recovery ahead. “He lost his leg, it’s gone poor guy and you know the only thing he’s done his whole life is moving,” said Cole, “He’s not going to be able to work in the only line of work he knows, and I’ve just got so much love and care for the man, that I share his worries for the well-being of his family.”
Cole also asks for those who can’t afford to give money, to say a prayer and at least share the message on Facebook to help spread the word. For more information, or to donate, click here.
