Dade County, Georgia (WDEF) – Dade County sheriff’s deputies want kids in need to have a Christmas.
That’s why they hosted the fifth annual Hope for the Holidays Toy Ride today.
Dozens of motorcyclists rode their bikes for about an hour, before heading back to Dade County High School for door prizes and a raffle.
These bikers say they love giving back to the kids.
They hope to help up to 400 kids in Dade County this year.
“There’s a lot of, not just our county, but other counties where kids don’t have a Christmas without receiving some help, and this is one big way we can give back to our county, the kids here,” says Dade County Sheriff’s Deputy Danny Ellis.
If you’d like to donate any toys, contact the Dade County Sheriff’s Office.
