CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – At 9:27 am, Chattanooga Police were called to the 2600 block of Dodson Avenue on a report of a shoot.
Police found three victims with non-life threatening gun shot wounds who were transported to the hospital in personal vehicles.
According to Chattanooga Police, there is no description of a suspect but the suspect’s vehicle is a newer Chevy Impala, tan or grey in color, with dark tinted windows.
The CPD Violent Crime Bureau is following up on all leads.
Police say another incident unfolded on Highway 58 during the same time frame involving individuals police believe are related to the incident on Dodson Avenue.
According to Chattanooga Police, a vehicle police thought was related to the shooting was seen in the area of the Dodson Avenue crime scene.
Police say the driver fled the scene with the vehicle when officers approached.
Police pursued the vehicle; the pursuit ended on Highway 58 and a suspect was taken into custody at 10:49 am.

Chattanooga, Tenn. (WDEF) – At least one possible suspect has been taken into custody at a Krystals restaurant on Highway 58 following a drive-by shooting near the intersection of Appling Street and Dodson Avenue. Police are trying to determine if that individual had anything to do with the drive up shooting.
Chattanooga Police first responded to a duplex near Appling and Dodson, where three people were reportedly shot. A person claiming to be the mother of one of the victims confirmed to News 12 the victims were two females and one male. The condition of the gunshot victims is currently unknown.
