The deputy wrote in his report that shortly after 6 A.M. Sunday, he spotted a suspicious vehicle occupied by three people outside a home in the 1600 block of Winton Lane.

According to the deputy, all three people inside the vehicle were attempting to avoid detection by lying down inside the car.

When the deputy asked them a question, all three reportedly appeared extremely nervous. The driver who was identified as Clark, denied consent to search the vehicle but the deputy got probable cause to search the car after a background check revealed Clark and Lawrence both had active warrants for their arrest.

During a search of the vehicle, the deputy found six grams of crystal meth and other drug paraphernalia.

The deputy also located three grams marijuana on backseat passenger Nicholas Walker. He was cited in lieu of arrest and allowed to walk away.

Clark and Lawrence were arrested and charged with multiple drug charges.

News 12 was able to confirm that a warrant had already been issued on Clark for June 11th incident in which she was accused of simple assault.

Bond for both women was set at $14,000 each. Both suspects are due in court July 5th.
