CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – One man is sitting in a local hospital tonight, suffering from a non-life threatening wound to the leg.
The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Eric White. According to Chattanooga Police, White drove himself to the hospital after being shot at the corner of Bernard Ave. and Hendricks St.
White told police an argument between two women broke out, and a small crowd began to gather on the street corner. During the dispute, White says a maroon colored SUV pulled up, an unidentified man got out and began shooting at the crowd. That’s when White says he was struck in the left calf, and grazed in the left flank area.
The suspect is described as slim build, with dark completion, wearing a “boonie hat”. Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this crime to call 423-698-2525.
