It started with the arrest of 3 suspects at a home on First Avenue in Hillcrest, just south of LaFayette

But the three men were all from Hixson.

Those arrests led officers to a couple of other homes in Walker County.

At 58 Trion Highway, they arrested 18 year old Shelby Jo Hendrix.

And at 344 Bandy road in LaFayette, they charged 19 year olds Jaimey Louise Thompson and Kyle Andrew Bloodworth.

They all face a variety of distribution charges.

Investigators say the marijuana supply network sold mainly to area high school students.

Officers recovered a large amount of marijuana, hash, xanax and marijuana- laced lip “wax.”

The investigation is ongoing and could involve more arrests.
