Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – After losing two vehicles to arson on January 31st, the Jewish Federation hoped to raise $20,000 to replace one.
And thanks to donations from the entire Chattanooga community and insurance, officials announced Thursday they’ve raised $14,335 towards their goal.
But since they’re not at their goal just yet, the Federation is still seeking a gently used, four door, full-sized, sedan with low mileage that is extremely reliable.
It’s to help transport constituents to doctor’s appointments, outpatient surgery, medication pick-up and the grocery store among other services needed by the elderly at risk members of our community.
You can make online financial contributions here or call the Federation’s office at 423-493-0270.
