LAUNCH Kinect promises to be a week of fun, entrepreneurship and networking for the city’s teens.
25 students from Howard, Brainerd, and Tyner get the tools and connections to develop and grow a business.
Monday they heard from some local masters of industry.
Hal Bowling is the Co-Founder and Executive Director LAUNCH Kinect. He said, "The idea of the camp really is to try to connect students, as they think about starting their businesses, connect students with entrepreneurs in our community who have done well and who are great role models and so Ted Alling is one of those and was kind enough to come and speak to the students today."
Topics include customer service, finance, professionalism, branding and marketing.
But since it’s a summer camp, attendees will have a lot of fun, too.
