A $3 million expansion and re-modeling project has made the thrift store 50% larger.
A formal ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the occasion Friday morning.
A staff of 40 is supported by 150 volunteers, and so far sales are up 13%.
Samaritan Center Board Chairman Ben Wygal says, "It’s a wonderful program that involves 170 different organizations, churches of all denominations in pulling together to do something good and help pull the community up."
The larger store is the result of a 5 year commitment by the Samaritan board of directors.
