Amazon is hiring for more than 100 full-time positions with benefits starting on day one at its fulfillment center in Charleston. Amazon is hiring in order to meet growing customer demand.

“Amazon’s announcement of more than 100 new full-time jobs at the Charleston fulfillment center, with the comprehensive benefits that come along with them, including health insurance, 401(k) and pre-payment for college tuition, is exciting and welcome news,” said Bradley County Mayor Gary Davis. “During the past few years we have seen the unemployment rate in the county drop considerably, due in part to Amazon. We are grateful for their continued investment in the community.”

The Charleston facility first opened in September 2011 when it shipped its first order, a Bumbo baby seat, to a customer in South Carolina.
