This morning at the North American International Auto Show, Denso Manufacturing announced it would invest $55 million dollars in its Athens plant to expand its gasoline direct injection lines.
This is in addition to last year’s expansion, that also added 130-jobs.
“These are very exciting times at DENSO,” said Hugh Cantrell, general manager, DENSO Manufacturing Athens Tennessee. “We are thankful for the past and current contribution of our associates and the support and commitment of the local community. We look forward to continued partnerships as we launch this expansion and compete to bring future products to Athens!”
