Will you take the Swine Flu Vaccine?

Don't get the vaccine. Please don't do it. Most of you Southern "Christians" put your faith in the LORD. He sees all, he knows all, he will take care of ALL your needs. I won't get the vaccine, as I never get any flu shots. If I were prone to illness and my body had a hard time fighting things off I might feel differently, but I fought off a lot of colds and flus when I was a kid and never took antibiotics. Now that I'm older, I rarely ever get sick when people around me are. By rarely I mean two flus in the past 8 years and no common colds. I attribute this to a strong immune system that has been built up because I have not beaten viruses with vaccines and antibiotics all of my life. One of the worst flus I ever got was from a vaccine while I was in the navy. I do know that more people die from the vaccine than from the flu, and those aren't the type of odds I wish to gamble on with my life.

now, if they wanted (they the guhvment)wanted to off some population, they would not target young people use logic and stop watching faux news. my mom was refused a vac shes 63. we all got one and are fine as i watch those dumbasses around me droppin like flies with the shit. we got the dead shots i aint down with no live virus vac of any kind. get the shot-this flu is dangerous.

The Pahrmas are so large they tell the CDC what to do. Your body is made to fight disease...let it do it's job. Doing so will make you stronger and more resisitant. Taking antibiotics like candy is another problem. People are unwittingly destroying their own imune system. Mercury laden meds shot into the blood system? Sounds like a great idea to me. Where is all the autism coming from....any ideas?
Just keep following along blindly, without critical thinking. The last swine flu in this country, 1 person died of the disease...30 sum odd died from the vacination.

Good!!!!!!!! Don't get vaccinated. Those of you that won't are mostly Republican'ts ...The U.S. will be better off without you.

I am pregnant and wasn't planning to get the vaccine until my family members got the swine flu and I don't want to go through what they are going through. Especially being pregnant and it being harder to fight things off. This is not the same swine flu vaccine as back in the day, but I can understand people's concern and distrust for the drug companies and CDC. Everyone has their own opinion and their right to choose whether or not to get it, so I wish people would stop putting others down for having a different opinion.

I haven't gotten the swine flu shot, but I'm planning to soon, and I've recently been out sick for a few days with the flu - which I got right after I got my regular flu shot, and at that time I was recovering from a cold. (I'm not sure if this is a coincidence or not).
I still feel sort of sick, even though I feel better, and I've gotten back to normal, even though I know the flu is still in me. So, I want to know: If I get the swine flu shot WHILE I STILL FEEL A LITTLE SICK, will I get swine flu?

Whilst I knock on wood here, let me say that I am 41 years old and have NEVER taken ANY flu or pneumonia shots in my life. I have not had the flu since before my son was born in 2001. I will NOT be taking the vaccine this year either. Call me stupid if you like, it's ok, you're not important engouth fo me to care what you think.

I personally will not get this shot, like others have mentioned, I don't trust it, am not going to take the chance. Remember X-Files, "TRUST NOBODY" go and get "marked" and chance on getting sick and die, i think not. Drug corporations already own the USA. Think how your Grandmother would tell you how not to get the flu, just think and don't be stupid.

Typical amount of time and trials for testing the vaccine have not taken place, and to mention a quote from a high ranking official a few months back that was replayed all over the airwaves, "Never waste a good pandemic"...

ok this is from the same people or same type of people that provide us with the regular flu shot?? from my understanding, they work on the next years vaccine from the previous years flu strain. they work it up in the lab to see which strain they think will be most prevalent the following year. with plenty of lead time they have gotten it wrong the last few years and now they want us to think the new shot is safe??? with rushed production?? oh and for those who still say this is dead virus, it says plainly on the box for the mist--LIVE. you people need to wake the heck up and turn off the news. it's rotting your brain

If you are in the high risk age group and/or in the high risk health group...then you should get it. Fine, don't get it for yourself but at least protect your children since they're the one's who are at the highest risk.

What is in the vaccine that kills the virus? Maybe we should ask ourselves this question. Many vaccines today have acetone(fingernail polish remover, formaldehyde(used in the embalming process) and many other toxic chemicals which can cause cancer and many other autoimmune disorders over time. I think the flu is nothing compared to these other illnesses. I am a healthcare provider and in no way would put this into my body.

It is impossible to get the flu from the flu shot. You can get exposed to the flu bug before you develop full immunity from the vaccine; it takes two weeks to be fully protected. This particular virus is very contagious. The best way to protect yourself from getting the flu is to get the vaccine. I think it's great that you don't want to jump right in because there are 5 target populations that really need the vaccine first.

If everyone got the flu shot, H1N1 would have no chance of becoming a pandemic. You can't get sick from dead virus. People that say that sound so backwoods! This person sounds completely ignorant of epidemiology and modern medicine. Get a clue!

I just do not see the need to jump right in and get the shot, let the children and older adults go first, or those at high risk. I do not think that i need it, i usually do not get flu, if anything, just a sniffle. So you wont see me waiting in line, and pay money to get sick after i get a shot! This just another way for those fat drug company's to get more record profits for a stupid vaccine. we should all know how to keep well.
