Which has the best fireworks show in the Tennessee Valley?
fireworks
My family drives from our home on signal mountain to DUNLAP to see the fireworks! has everyone forgotten about dunlap having a fireworks display?
Dalton
Dalton's fireworks show has sucked ever since, they moved it over to heritage park, it was way better when they did it at the old rec center, because everybody could sit on the big hill and were able to see the show, The northbypass is a nighmare to deal with the traffic, and it's out of the way, and plus, everyone that lives outside the area knows that Dalton & especially Tunnel Hill are nothing but cop traps, and most people coming from out of town go through 41 highway, the cops in this town don't want anybody to have fun....without a price!
problems with the police,??
problems with the police,?? well if your not breaking the law you have nothing to worry about... dont like the po-po? dont break the law real simple. It is people like you who break the law then get mad when you get caught and blame the cops for your stupidity.

Thanks Doc! It's always the
Thanks Doc! It's always the same people who don't plan in advance, show up drinking or drunk, think they can park their POS right up front regardless of conditions, signs, and markings, and let the kids go insane at everybody else's expense that try to ruin public events everywhere, always!
fireworks
I've seen fireworks all over the area: Soddy, Jasper, Chatt,Signal Mtn. and others. I think Dunlap is the best!
I agree. I am surprised that
I agree. I am surprised that it was not on the list. Dunlap has one of the best 4th of July celebrations in the state from the parade in the morning to the fireworks display at night.
fireworks
I believe Pops on the River is the Best show. We always take our boat and load up with food and friends and make a night of it!! Very little traffic and always a good time.
I have to say that
I have to say that Collegedale puts on a good show, but the traffic at ANY of these fireworks displays is horendous. It took us 1 1/2 hrs to get out to the main road out of a parking lot in Collegedale. And even though we were in traffic, the local police dept directed us the opposite way in which we were headed. Headaches like this make me just wanna pop off fireworks at home.

New Salem Is the best!
Everbody has there favorite place to go and see the fireworks. I live on Lookout Mtn. in New Salem and our volunteer fire department put on the best firework show that I have seen. I would rather sit in the comfort of my on yard and watch my community put on the wonderful show. I would to say what a great job they did this year.
