All Bands in General

All bands as a whole have given thier all these last few years. But that Tyner Marching band have come along ways from when Mr. Wynn, and Mr. Barber were directing it. I agree with Miss Vinson that Mr. Smith has brought back the soul in this band. Congrats Mr. Smith, and may you and the Marching Pride have a bright future. As an Alumni of Tyner Academy, previous drum-major, and member of 'The Aristocrat of Bands' at Tennessee State, I can honestly say that I am proud to see what they have become. Keep up the good work, and in hopes to see you all soon.

why did brainerd band director have to go on the field to change the position of one of her tubas? it is beyond me but mr. smith has never gone on the field to move us to the right spot. we stop where we need to and we sell it. but we all know that tyner pride is the best high school band in chatt town.tyner has went far as a high skool band. Clark Atlanta was one of our best experiences. where has brainerd been? nowhere at all. they didnt even go to the battle of the bands here so how are they the best? we own chatt town. chatt town dont own us!!! brainerd and howard are our shadows and they will always be!!!!!!!!!!!

homecoming was so great.we featured many songs from what most would say,"the old school". this is my 3rd year marching. for the last two years, maestro elleis smith had changed our band tromendosuly from the disipline to the way we march and play. we love you mr. smith!!!!!!!!!!!!

i feel u .im in d middle school band and next yr ill b marching.but if it wsnt for all tht yellin`,screamin,& push ups.we wouldnt be as good as we r now.mr.smith u d best!thank u 4 everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
