Stimulus Rebate Checks Arriving Later Than Many Expected

$1,500 turned into $900. Hubby works, I do not, we claim one child. Our income last year was $56,000 so we should qualify for the $1,500. No reason given, no phone number with a human and no where to write and lastly, no one with the truth of the amounts on these checks.

It will be nice to have some extra money. But it's just money you have to pay back next year. It's not 'free', it's loaned. And years ago they were supposed to do major updates to the IRS system and I don't know that they have yet. Subsequently, there system may be all to hades by now. Is the IRS capable of continuing to do their job?? Probably not.
