Dunebuggy Hits Crowd at Shriners Parade

I SENT AN E MAIL TO THE MAYOR OF OUR TOWN SUPERIOR
WISCONSIN BACK ON JULY 6, 2005 TO EXPRESS MY CONCERN
ABOUT THE SHRINERS MINI CARS AND THE SPEEDS AT WHICH
THEY OPERATE TO DO THEIR PERFORMANCE FOR OUR 4TH OF
JULY PARADE EACH YEAR. HE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING AND THEY
ARE STILL IN OUR PARADES DOING THEIR ROUTINE AND FAST
SPEEDS. NOW APPARENTLY THIS ACCIDENT DID NOT HAPPEN
WHILE DOING THEIR ROUTINE BUT YOU CAN SEE FIRST HAND
WHAT CAN HAPPEN WHEN AND IF ONE OF THESE VEHICLE GETS
OUT OF CONTRO. I HAVE SENT THIS ARTICLE AND VIDEO TO
OUR MAYOR TO SEE IF HE WILL NOW TAKE ANOTHER LOOK AT
MY CONCERN. MAYBE NOW HE WILL TAKE ACTION. SORRY TO
HEAR ABOUT ALL THE PEOPLE THAT GOT HURT IN CHATTANOOGA

set the record straight
I was there when the accident occured. Sitting right across the street from where the accident occured and went to render aid when the accident happened. The woman in the video said that the vehicles were doing circles but that is incorrect. The yellow vehicle was sitting still while his wife took a picture of him in the vehicle. The red dunne buggy sped up on the right side of a Cadillac, which was sitting in the middle of the road, and hit the yellow car that was sitting still. I believe that the report needs to be reported correctly.
