 We may take it for granted now.  But you can argue that the Tennessee Aquarium is the most important thing to happen to Chattanooga in a hundred years.   This aerial video from January of 1992 shows you why.  You can see that before the Aquarium, there was no Coolidge Park, no pedestrian bridge, no movie theater or downtown ball stadium.  Just rows of old warehouses.
