Amazon Prime Day(s) is just a week away

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Amazon’s original Prime Day is now a four day event and they are moving it up this year.

It starts on Tuesday, June 23rd and runs through Friday.

But you can already find many of the deals posted now.

The folks at RetailMeNot have been researching how many of us will take part.

They say 76% plan to shop sometime during Prime Day week.

But not all will go to Amazon.

Walmart and Target are also on the docket.

They found that 27% of us put off making bigger purchases until Prime Day.

And about one in four of us will start their holiday shopping now.

Amazon still makes the most money from the Prime Day hype, but spending is growing faster at the other retail competitors around the event.
