DeKalb County, AL Schools closing at 1:30 cdt. 

Scottsboro City Schools closing one hour early. After school care and extra-curricula activities canceled.

Rhea County Schools Close Early Due to Fertilizer Odor

   Well, Rhea County has came up with a unique reason to send students home at 11:15 Monday morning.

United Missionary Baptist Church on Benton Pike has cancelled all Sunday morning services.

Road Closures Due to Icy Conditions

Roberts Mill Road and the W Road in Hamilton County, Tennesee and 3rd Street (Fort Payne Gap) in DeKalb County, Alabama  are CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE because of icy conditions. The following roads are extremely hazardous due to icy conditions:  Highway 111, Leggett road, Taft Highway and other roads on Signal Mountain, Mowbry Mountain and Mowbry Pike.
