Brother In Law Arrested In Stabbing Case

Chattanooga police have their suspect in a stabbing from Thursday night.

He is Martin Sims.

They were called to a home on Dodson Avenue over a theft at the house.

While they were outside.. Two family members got into a fight inside.


Police Look For Shooting Suspect

Chattanooga police are looking for a teenager in a shooting from Thursday.

22-year old Brian Peek showed up at Memorial Hospital last night with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

He told officers he tried to intervene when someone he knew tried to rob a friend of his.


Polk County Will Take The Rafting Tax to the Tennessee Supreme Court

Polk county officials will appeal a court ruling on their rafting tax.

For years.. The county has charged a tax on rafters that was collected by the outfitting companies for the Ocoee River.

The companies fought it in court and finally won.
