Chatsworth authorities say no charges will be filed in the Bully-cide death of a Murray County High School junior.
17 year old Tyler Long took his own life October 17th after what his parents say were years of escalating abuse by his peers.
The Honor Student and ROTC member suffered from Asperger's Syndrome.
Chatsworth Police conducted an investigation at the request of Long's parents and say while the loss of their son is tragic, criminal charges are not forthcoming.
Here is a statement from Tyler's parents:
We appreciate the investigation by the Chatsworth Police Department. The investigation brought awareness to the situation. From the numerous text messages, phone calls, and emails we have received, we know that Tyler was bullied on a regular basis. Bullying does not always have to be physical. The worst kind of bullying is mental. Tyler's voice will continue to be heard.
